So I went through the related posts and found that they're old and things might have changed as of late.
Is provigil or it's equivalent available locally(with or without prescription)?
I took Ritalin for a month and I am not necessarily happy with the outcomes. All it did was keep me up at night, make me nauseous and I noticed a loss of appetite as well. I basically had to wait for the side effects to ware off (after taking it) before I could do anything.

Yes it is available on prescription but is pretty expensive. 2 years ago it was about R30 per tablet.

I have a feeling that it will keep you more awake than Ritalin. I have tested Modafinil before, and couldn't sleep for 24h afterwards.

Thanks, R30 a pill sure is pricey!
Did you stop after that or...?

I just got 8x100mg, was to drive down to Margate in the middle of the night. Took 100mg about every 2-3hours, think it was 300mg in total. It gives you very good focus, but its a bit extreme. The rest I used only 100mg at a time, also to keep awake through the night.

Some people think its a wonder drug, but its far from it. The focus you gain for a short while you have to pay back. And that happens sooner than later, and its not fun.
