Should be awesome, have you seen new games like Valkarie 2? The graphics are amazing, maybe this will give the ps2 a bit of a longer life

weird... why would Sony want to re-inforce PS2's current standing by pushing HD on to it? maybe coz they dont trust their PS3 to do the job?

looks like an upscaling option to fake HD IMO.

EDIT: bah, k, ATI sneeked in a few secs before me

Doesn't help much though. If native resolution is still 480, all you're going to get is crisper bluriness on Big TV's.
