PS3 Game reviews

Okay now I have been interested to see how the PS3 performs and after it got released in Japan on Friday I was expecting a flood of news and reviews about it.

But I can't find anything really.
I have seen the inside of a few, I read about one crashing whilst it was upgrading itself and I have read about it not playing all the PS2 and PS1 titles.

Final Fantasy being one of those which is quite suprising... anyway...

I have read about old Chinese people being paid to get one but I have not read any reviews of how it plays... Can someone point me in the right direction?

I also read that it only had 5 games at release. Man that sux

Does anyone have any links to some interesting news on it?

EurAsia only has some Linux stuff and the opening of the box again. Seriously who gives a crap about what it looks like inside.

Gamerankings only seems to have Resistance which is not out yet... (strange that it's top of their rankings but it's score is less than Gears of War).

Hasn't anyone used this system to play a game yet?

also... why wasn't there a grand tursimo released with the new ps3 like the game was released with the ps and ps2.

how on earth can you release a new playstation consol with a gran turismo title. I mean what is the point of getting a ps3 then?

Resistance seems to be their killer game but since it's not out yet it's not what I am looking for.

I have seen some of the trailers but they are just videos not actual gameplay. So they cannot be trusted...

Genji: Days of the Blade 58/100 (Ouch).
Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire (No Score Yet).

Seriously has anyone played any games on this machine and are any of them any good... a 58/100 launch title is shocking.... really shocking...

Side note, I spoke to the Head of games for SK yesterday and have been invited to go and test a PS3 dev box hopefully next week... Anyone jealous?

The odd thing with those reviews (especially Resistance) is how it gets given a 95 when the critic himself rates a lot of the game a mediocre.

I have the same criticisms for some of the GoW reviews. It may be a killer app, but if the voice acting is bad, it's to short, and there isn't a lot of depth, that doesn't warrant 90's.

I think Sony have been pushing the reviewers to give Resistance high scores as it's their only decent title at the moment..

M$ most probably does the same, but at least we have Halo 3 coming and I have heard rumours about Unreal 2007 coming as well.... That is one of my favourite shooter games...

Now honestly from that list I would buy maybe 4 games...

More likely just 2... I really struggled choosing my launch games on the X360...

This might go a bit pear shaped for Sony.

Why do you want an Xbox 360 and a PS3 and a PC?
Please could you help me understand...is too show off that you have money or is it because you are used to getting everything?

PS: I'm not trying to start a fight (again )...I'm really just curious. One of the consoles and a pc makes sense, but both consoles and a pc...sounds crazy.

I might get a Nintendo Wii because they are very different and nothing else gives that type of gameplay.

I don't play much on the PC anymore, it just costs to much and is to much hassle.

I don't see myself getting a PS3 but would consider it if it came out with a killer title.
