same - not every month, but i'm sure we have a small car worth of lego. i've been buying lego technic for over 6 years now, not even mentioning the millenium falcon and other "plain" sets. i love building with my boy and he excels at it. he was 5 when he got his first large technic (42008), i challenged him to finish it on his own and if he did he'll get the mindstorm set.
a few days later he was done. the sheer concentration and willpower was something to behold, from there it was a lego avalanche.

some of his mates are on ps and the others on xbox - so crossplay can be a pita - especially for party chats, but they just whatsapp call and stick that in the other ear

As for your second point "affordability issues" is more like I would rather "waste" money on other things. I can go out now and buy a PS5 cash, not a card, pure cash, but why? I only game max 2 days a week. We do spend about R5k a month on Lego, something that give us a lot more value for money than a console ever will.

I'm sorry, but that defense for piracy is puerile. It justifies every corrupt politician in SA as well, by the way.

And you are contradicting yourself. Lego is your form of entertainment, just like PS is for me. How you justify R5k a month on overpriced plastic bricks, and then call Sony greedy, blows my mind. It's hypocrisy in the extreme.

Oh come on, this debate itself is a game. We are gamers - what else we going to do while we wait on the consoles to be released. Getting all upset, about gamers getting "upset" with each other, is a bit ironic, don't you think?

Can be whatever it is in your view but I will not "judge" someone that pirates Marvel’s Avengers for PS cause he cant get Spiderman in his PC version. Or if Someone Downloads a Movie/TV show that is not in SA. And no its not the same Piracy is not theft. HUUUUUUUGE difference ps: Thats why its called piracy

Even our law agrees piracy is a civil matter and theft is a criminal matter.
