It starting to seem like back in the day when you were in Primary School, you was the kid whose uncle went overseas and bought a PS2 back in 1998

Nope. I come from a family that was financially constrained. I just don't like it when people try and morally justify piracy. I get that it happens. I don't get when people boast about it, and loudly proclaim they have some sort of justified right to steal somebody's IP - because it is too expensive for them, or more than they are willing to pay.

Can be whatever it is in your view but I will not "judge" someone that pirates Marvel’s Avengers for PS cause he cant get Spiderman in his PC version. Or if Someone Downloads a Movie/TV show that is not in SA. And no its not the same Piracy is not theft. HUUUUUUUGE difference ps: Thats why its called piracy

Even our law agrees piracy is a civil matter and theft is a criminal matter.

Lego doesn't force me to only build what is on the box ;)

Justify it however you want (to yourself). I'm not going to agree.

Don't get me wrong - Lego, I loved it as a child as well. Mish-mashing different sets into one big cake tin of pieces. Spent many, many hours playing with it. And if you don't build just whats on the box, why do you spend R5K a month on it. SHould have plenty of pieces to go wild with.

However, the point remains that if you spend R5k a month on plastic bricks, it is very hypocritical of you to attack Sony's pricing.

Edit: ok, I see it's not R5k every month now. Still, I consider Lego to be extremely overpriced, but if that's what you like....

Each to their own :)

I must say I almost fall over every time I see the prices for a tiny little lego set. Then, you get these big, intricate monsters. That's almost the price of a console on its own.

you missing the point, I dont give 2 shts about their pricing or which one you buy.... I care about their & Microsoft to a lesser degree business practice. (Exclusives)

Then again, ignore me and my rants. Go pay twice for same game. Or go buy both consoles cause you like to waste money owning both when ones hardware should be able to run both's games. I know I am not gonna so deal with it ;).

So Lego doesn't have "exclusives"?

My mind boggles at the fact that Sony spends huge money on developing games for their system, that turn out to be pretty damn good, but then certain people moan about them not being made available to competitors to sell?

It's ludicrous.

Oh they can sell their own games, hell they can even price it double for competitors systems if they want. Don't have to give it away. <-- Whatever they do here is fine

My problem is when there "exclusive" deals remove content from other developers games ie: Spiderman on Marvel Avengers or when they strike a deal with company x to block company y from getting a game release cause reasons. Or when You can get it but only a year after I got it.... (Fake Walls)

Also not this is not Sony only, Microsoft use to do this a lot as well, Epic loooves doing it lately.

Sony pushing exclusives =
MS buying ZeniMax to (presumably) do the same = "Panic Buying!", "Monopoly incoming!", "I don't play Bethesda games anyways so who cares!"

Gotta love
