I think there were some tests that showed that Xbox SX/S was loading back-compat games faster than PS5, but when games are designed for the new consoles the PS5 slips ahead by a bit.
You wouldn't unless you sat and looked at the flora around you. Xbox One version of it cut back on the little fine plants throughout the game. Both on compatibility mode and 30FPS (locked) but from my subjective experience Series X loads much faster than PS5. Can't tell much difference in quality from my couch tho
PS5 will run the PS4 Pro version. Series X will run the One X version, which is graphically superior...Doesn't GTA 5 run in backward compatibility mode?
So the Xsx version is the xb1 version. Which is graphically inferior to the PS4.
Demon's Souls today though... gonna be fun replaying and trying to not throw my controller at the wall.
I recently tried the original... did not take me long to realize why I did not like or finish the game.
GTA5 isn't enhanced on any of those unfortunately.PS5 will run the PS4 Pro version. Series X will run the One X version, which is graphically superior...
Would rather use furniture inherited from my grandpa than spend my Xbox money on a freakin’ TV stand. Talk about selling your car for petrol money, damduiker![]()
Its not midgen enhanced.PS5 will run the PS4 Pro version. Series X will run the One X version, which is graphically superior...
10/10Guys, please rate my man cave?

My housemates and I sat on camper chairs in the lounge before one of them got antiques from his parents. We had pretty decent gaming PCs (for the time and price) though
Those were they days.
Xbox:The value is insane when you think about it for the price of a PS5 with a season pass and PS Plus you can get 3 years of Access to Xbox Exclusives + various indie and AAA game.
When does the gold to ultimate deal expire? I don't own a console yet but at R55pm it's basically like paying almost half price for Game Pass PC.
Yes you can (I did)But then it's the question of can I active Xbox Gold without a console lol
The shopping tab on Google has several options to purchase it got R650 and underXbox:
Agreed. I basically paid R1950 for 3 years of GamePass Ultimate (that includes GamePass for Both PC/Console as well as Gold Live and xCloud)
No idea how long the upgrade path deal still gonna be on for its on for over a year now but Microsoft did stop printing and selling 12 month Gold keys in July 2020
Its R55 if you bought your 12 month Xbox Gold card for around R650 (Incredible connection) I don't see many of those deals anymore. Normal price of R900 that you can get at places like Takealot is still good value (Works out to R75pm for something that is normally R150 pm)
No need for console
Also claiming games can be done on the website if you don't have a console yet:
Xbox games with Gold
PlayStation Plus games
PlayStation:
I did pick up a couple of 12 Month PlayStation Plus subs for R550 during Black Friday sale. Got my brother to log into his new PS5 with my account yesterday to claim the essentials. For the time being I'll can also fill up my library over at Sony's Site So when I do score/buy a PlayStation 4/5 I will have a decent list of games to play. <-- that was also a good deal.
Also PlayStation Now ($60 for 12 month sub) is very similar to GamePass sadly not available in SA but you can use a VPN to get/use. Bigger list of games and the PS4 titles can be installed onto your console. Streaming the PS3 ones is hit and miss depending on your connection. If I had a PS4/5 I would def look at getting it.
Yes you can (I did)
Redeem Gold at http://www.microsoft.com/redeem

Hey? You are repeating stuff that has been said before. Are you feeling lonely? The value is insane when you think about it for the price of a PS5 with a season pass and PS Plus you can get 3 years of Access to Xbox Exclusives + various indie and AAA game.

LOL the PS5 and the Xbox Series threads are for people who actually own the consoles. If this thread was only populated by the people who own the consoles then it will be nothing but a fanboy screeching match.Hey? You are repeating stuff that has been said before. Are you feeling lonely?
Having said that, according to some posts, you shouldn't even be posting here. You don't even own a console!

I know you and JCVD are trying your hardest to turn this thread into that.
To your first point what I'm feeling is FOMO on missing out on the Gold to Ultimate upgrade deal.
Here's a news flash for you fanboys, this thread doesn't revolve around you guys. Frankly apart from when I directly reply to you I don't really care about your opinions.Nonsense. None of these threads are about people who are only allowed to post if they have a console. This was the point I was trying to make.
As I have said a few times before, you keep on trying to ignite a debate/flame war.
But explain to me about your FOMO on missing out on the Gold to Ultimate upgrade deal. You don't have any console. So can you not get it on your PC?

The reason I post what I post here for the most part is my opinion and stories that I think other people who are weighing in on which next gen console to buy.
To the FOMO part ,I've been using my brother's XB1 during the holiday that's why the thought came to mind. I don't plan on buying a console until after July and paying for something upfront that I won't be able to fully utilise doesn't sound like wise decision on the surface to me.
Although I'm currently 75% Xbox for this gen at this moment getting the Gold To Ultimate deal locks me into a decision months before I actually get the product. Who knows maybe Sony will launch their version of Game Pass by then.
