This is something that I am wondering about....
Is EA Play going to be permanent like 1st party games or are they gonna follow the normal 12 month advert only GP game lifetime?
EA play Sub on its own is ($5). Half the price of GP ($10) and one third of GPU ($15)

Some transparency would have been cool. I would like to know if EA gets say $2-3 per GP Ultimate sub (Then I can see it staying on permanently), if its a "Get your hooked" only advert (Then not so much). I don't see myself getting EA Play separate if they remove it after 12 months, but know of some sports fans that would prefer EA play above any GamePass Sub.

In either case I already got to play some EA Games I would have ignored otherwise, example finished Jedi Fallen Order for free.

Edit: Oh and Ubisoft+ is in bed with Google Stadia last time I checked?

Looking at the performance of the M1 chip all Apple has to do is ship a M1 powered Apple TV with a free controller and the entire gaming market console and PC will be turned on its head.

Mac and iOS users will have their own version of Game Pass overnight.

And you know Apple will buy up at least one of the Big Boy Publishers

LOL, funny how buying a 12K console now suddenly make you well off. Wonder how many guys here, mother's bought them a console? WTF is 12K? Two months eat out, movie and fishing money? Almost every time I bought some tech secondhand from someone that upgraded to the newest, they drove an old cheap car or stayed in some cheap rented flat. I know of a waiter that bought himself a PS5, whoopididoo.
But life has taught me that people that don't have money, is the first to try pretend if they have. We all know the poor guys buying the most expensive clothes and shoes, so people will think they made it.

We even discussed it on Boxing day. On weekends when he goes's away and I have to feed his dogs I am welcome use his console (& Games) and when we go away, he is welcome to use mine.

PS: I know you thinking/referring about Microsoft games being on PC, sadly he doesn't have a gaming PC.
Edit: He is using mine this weekend to check out GamePass while I am completing Halo on my PC. (I'm not a fan of FPS on console)

Well I was referring to what you mentioned:

Although there plenty of Sony exclusives, one can also play third party titles as well.

So having had the privilege to spend some time on both consoles I can certainly say the XSX has a superior build quality and feel to it. My PS5 sounds terrible as well, might have to see if anything is touching the fan or something. XSX was so quiet I couldn't tell if it was on or not. I don't think Sony outdid MS when it comes to build and design.

WOW, My brother and I are the exact same lol

We played Spidey and Dark souls thingy game and now they gather dust, they all play Fortnite !! I still joke with them about being one of the most expensive Fortnite console evaaa !!

Anyways, not long for those " Exclusives " now !!

That is just it, I am not missing out, just experiencing different things at a different time. Time has taught me one thing, good things tend to survive it.

Example: If Cyberpunk 2077 is such a good game, it will still be a good, if not better game come December when GOTY edition rolls out. Besides its not like I don't have anything to play right now either so it can wait.

If your PS5 is noisy then you have a problem console. It should be dead-quiet except when booting up or using the disc drive.
