Hitman 3 is stunning on XSX at 4K HDR. It will look just as fantastic on PS5 even though it's at 1800p, nobody will even notice when actually playing.

I think its great a game finally got released that is performing and playing like we expect it to across all consoles. It's a shame IOI struggled with servers the first 24 hours.

To be fair, if you watch the video the PS5 seems to have more headroom as the XB consoles drop frames in certain places whereas on the PS5 it doesn't. It would have been a nice comparison if they both ran with the same settings.
It's running at a lower res with lower shadow detail on PS so it can maintain the frame rate.

They did say that they could have capped the frame rate at 60 on SX if they implemented dynamic res, but the trade off to drop from 4k isn't worth it considering the frame drop happens in that one spot...

Didn't you hear ? Xbox just cannot be better than PS5 ... even from blu rayzzz to the plastik is bettur !

Anything good the Xbox has will be torn asunder ! Some folk here believe you or I are not allowed to have choice in other consoles / items and different things in life !! ( Dick'taterships )

Would rather have games that run at 4K instead of 1800p for that sacrifice, thank you.
games or game?
As can be seen by the console wars over the last decade or two, Sony know what they are doing. I think Sony had given 1800p as a preferred compromise for developers on the PS4 pro already, as for real life use probably nobody will see the difference.
So this is things they have tested and have experience in, and I would take that, rather than frame drops.

Ooh slaan jy solank vure dood?
I see the power supply is already starting to give problems. That guy on Youtube that's been fixing consoles for years, bought two broken Series X's a few weeks ago, both with failed power supply.

Until I was told that the series X had a 1080p UI, I saw no difference. Double standards much?

I didn't even notice the UI was not rendered at 4K on my 55" TV compared to the original PS4 interface looking insanely blurry at 1080P.

LOL there is a huge difference between 1080 vs 2160 and 1800 vs 2160.
There is also plenty people on Reddit etc complaining how bad the 1080 UI look on a 4k tv

I'm glad you think people buy consoles for just the UI, oom.

Staring at the screen all day admiring the UI kinda defeats the purpose of a console ..
