PSP firmware downgrade?

Hi guys,

My brother recently bought a PSP (he doesnt even play his PS2 that hes had for years so no clue why :O ) and first thing he did was upgrade it to the latest drivers he could find and now he cant use 'certain applications' because of the latest version that he has.

Is there any possible way to downgrade it ?

is it 2.8 firmware

ok if its a 2.8 no can do for now

if it is a 2.5 or 2.6 firmware and not a ta082 mother board then you can downgrade with the dark alex downgrader back to 1.5

Unfortunately its 2.8

but I think reading from the above link, itl be sorted out soon.
