I've been wanting to buy a PSP (or a NDS) for almost a year now, but what scares me is the amount of people selling thier PSP's. A friend of mine only had it for 6 DAYS and sold it. WTF ?! What is it with the PSP ? Does one get bored of it ? No time for it ? Wasn't what you though it was ? Boring ?

I never see anyone selling their Nintendo DS, EVER. Is the NDS better than the PSP ?

Just something I would like to know.

Games are as follows,

Tony Hawk Re-Mix
Burn Out Legends
Ape Escape

Movie is Spiderman 2

Reason for selling, bought it for my son when we went on a road trip last year November and it has not been used since then (he would rather play on his PS2) In fact he did not even use it, also I used it to scan for Wi-Fi spots ;) but I used my Powerbook for that now.

In in the Durban area, so can drop off if need be. Or can send via Speed Services.

I'm really happy with my psp...sony adding more and more features to it which makes it a nice portable machine to work with. With so many games that are coming up shown in E3, it's worth it. Just games in SA are so expensive.

I'm also thinking of maybe selling mine. Bought it last december and have not really done anything with it. And the price of the games....eeesh thats a bit steep, prefer my good ol pc.

I think I'll give it one more try, see if I can get the wife interested in it, so she doesn bother me when I am playing games, after that I'll see

:woot: NDS FTW !!! :D

I think PSP's taking a beating from the "Jack of all trades" syndrome. What the DS does, it does exceptionally well and like no other. I've been looking into them I'd go for the DS (lite) anyday, I just have to figure how to get it past the missus ;)

PSP makes sense if you want an all purpose mobile media station, like if you're a commuter. But in ZA, where we mostly drive, there's no great use case.

Missed this thread, but on the topic of the PSP:

I have the original PS, PS2 and the PSP ... plus that the PC for PC Games. The gaming PC doesn't even have speakers connected to it anymore. I gave the PS away ... The PS2 has been in a box now for more than 18 months ... I only use the PSP. It is convenient, quick to get out and play, and no cabling or anything to worry about. The rest of them are just too much of a schlep!
