Quote from 24.com:
  • When a driver reaches 13 points his/her driver's licence is suspended for 32 days.
  • One point per month is deducted if there are no offences in that month.
  • Suspensions are calculated in terms of months more than 12, and the figure is then tripled.
  • When a suspension period has expired, a driver can apply for the licence to be returned.
  • After three suspensions, the licence is permanently confiscated and the person must apply from scratch for a licence.

Who(or what system) is going to keep track of this?!
edit: oh, and 24.com needs a spell-check, because to me its license and not licence!:)

Do I get this right ?

You got your license and waited almost a year to get your Card License... Now once it has been revoked you have to apply to have it returned... Another year ?... Yea well what did we exspect... It's SA !

There will be, they don't care about the rules now, so there is no reason to in the future.
