Mpofu's request to subpoena Ramaphosa to Mkhwebane's impeachment declined

President Cyril Ramaphosa will not be called to appear before the Section 194 Committee handling Public Protector Busisiwe Makhwebane's impeachment.

"Members have spoken, we are not asking the chair to subpoena the president," committee chairperson Qubudile Dyantyi said at the committee's meeting on Tuesday.

The committee received a legal opinion that Ramaphosa should only be called if his testimony is relevant.

Ok, so thats an additional 36 hour monologue from Dali about how his rights are being trampled on, and its a political conspiracy.

In terms of the Powers, Privileges and Immunities of Parliament and Provincial Legislatures Act - commonly referred to as the Powers and Privileges Act - it is illegal to threaten an MP in the performance of their functions, and it could carry a prison sentence of up to three years.

At this rate I'm beginning to believe the POS
She might be right, but her theology is rotten. All God's gifts and chastisements -- from life itself to everything else that follows -- come through people.

The Public Protector spent R213 000 on a legal opinion on whether Mkhwebane could receive crowdfunding to pay for a R22 6621 personal costs order issued against her in the Reserve Bank case.

This, and the other legal opinions she sought and paid for, sounds like some type of money laundering unless its normal to charge such an amount, which I doubt.

She's a lawyer herself, but needs hundreds of thousands of Rands worth of legal opinions, she's no better than a common thief. The pos.

There's nothing wrong with legal opinions, I expect someone in her position to get plenty legal opinions, the only problem is that she really did not care about legal opinions, she paid good money to all those dodgy people to say what she wanted to hear, you can see by the amount of cases she lost as well as the comments from the judges in those cases.

It would be a great injustice of she is allowed to get away with it.
