The principal asked police to take the phones because a) they won't all fit in the school safe, and b) it would be unsafe to keep that many phones lying around at the scool.Story makes it sound like police were there for drugs and weapons, and confiscated the phones too. Then the burning started after? Who knows.
Point is a phone isn't a drug or a weapon and fkall to do with the police, no matter what was arranged. If the police are so useful, why didn't they stop the fires and people starting them?
I don't support the burning of infrastructure, but this place is and was a dump, kids shouldn't even be allowed to go there if you give a fk at all about their safety
"There was no way so many phones would fit into the school’s safe and it would be unsafe to keep that many phones in the school premises, so I informed the children that the police would be taking the phones and keeping them at the police station."
Again, police didn't steal anything.
