Saying you don't take your education seriously because of politicians is a swaak excuse, especially when said politicians have degrees and other high qualifications. If they are copying the EFF why are they being selective in what they copy? Even that buffoon Mngxitama went to university and completed his qualification.

What is saddening is the buning down of schools 25 years into freedom.

People go ballistic about my single post but don't care about the country being destroyed. WTF is wrong with them?
Moving the goal posts. You know how people here feel about vandals and thugs.

"pupils allegedly became enraged over poor marks they had received ."
This is the problem , marks are not handed out , they are earned , well meant to be .
They used to be called students because they studied , then they were called pupils because their eyes focussed on the board/books , then they were called learners because they learnt , nowdays we need a new word to describe youths of school going age it seems.

Marks do matter. Else there wouldn't be charred remains of a school today
Yeah yeah they matter , thats why places have quotas and would rather take the lowest mark individual rather than one which is lower on the quota point list thingy.
Go on say there is no such thing as quotas...........i dare ya

What is worse is some people's inability to see the irony. What do you think of people that burn down schools? Tell us the truth, do you condone it??
No but neither do I condone denigrating an entire ethnic group based on the actions of a few people...

Revolution before education.
Its haunting them now.

So much entitlement.
Free education still comes with hard work.
Free education doesn’t mean free passes.

Life lesson one. Send them to jail for arson

They were not even born yet. When Mandela became president, he encouraged the new generation to study and make the best of opportunities available to them. That is the South Africa these little turds know. I bet most of them never heard the phrase "revolution before education".

OT:
Yeah that is not cool and if you think that is what I did you are mistaken.
But then again, let's see who started off with Verwoerd? Who liked it?

Now do yourself a favour, search for Verwoerd on the forums and who is always race baiting.

As such my posts here:

Of course The Director was also lurking, colour me surprised. The trolls and orcs be ...

So ignore all the millions of black people who desperately want an education to tar them all with the "these people" brush and claim that this is fulfilling Verwoed's prophecy..?
At a stage when it was liberation before education, when the comrades were burning down schools, a certain chief in the old KwaNdebele would have none of it. He caught all of those inciting, had them sjambukked, thrown into baths with salt water. Rinse and repeat a few times. No schools were razed. His argument was "My people need education".

In the late 70's, he in fact poached some of the best teachers he could get. My own ex math teacher along with other brilliant teachers ended up as teachers in KwaNdebele.

So yes, your statement even stood then. But we see the same issues today. There will always be those that would destroy it for everybody, while other will try and better themselves.

It's easy and fast destroying, hard slow work building and improving ... and that goes for all.
