So I'm a 30+ somthing reminising on the old days still do well against bots but really getting my ass handed to me anyone else experienced this? I was pretty goodm maybe I'm just to old and slow now .....

Nope maybe you're just too used to AI behaviour or don't get enough exposure to multiplayer games? But I'd consider that a good thing - you have more going for you than spending 15 hours by a pc like some kids ... if it makes you feel any better, I can play dead space 2 on survivalist mode no problem but so far haven't managed to last more than 40 seconds in multiplayer!! How embarrassing

Yeah it's a matter of playing against people, bots eventually are predictable of note. I'm moderately okay at QuakeLive now, not great, but at the point where it's fun to play. I started a couple months ago, and I suuuuucked, I was hitting the walls and eating enemy rockets only just takes a little practice to get to a fun point. And just realize you won't be better than the people that play a work days worth every day.
