Seems a moot point but I would like some clarity form cell c.

Why can't we just buy the 24 gig bundle (over 12 months) and have it added to our 60 gig bundles. I have a 60 gig bundle and am a very happy customer and would like to have the 24 gig bundle added on but I find the need to get a new sim card for this when I already have one to seem a bit insensible (increases the risk of me losing it etc). it would be easier for me to have one sim with the 7 gig per month on it than 2 sims with the data spread out on them. The benifit to cell C is having the customer using 1 sim with one account being managed.

Would it be possible for you to answer this question? if you don't it wouldn't matter as i would just buy the 2 gig bundle.

this IS a necessity!!!! I am sure they are working on it.... for me i just want an extra gig a month, 2 gigs is just too little for my average usage!

Hi MightyMuffinMan

Thank for your suggestion as it provides us with valuable insight into the way our subscribers perceive our service and products.

It's unfortunately not possible to combine our bundles at the moment but we will consider this suggestion in the future.

It appears that Cell C are trying to keep it simple at the moment, they just want to roll out the network and to raise some cash for doing it.

Fair enough, it's a specific policy and makes financial and marketing sense.

I appreciate the response. the service really has improved :)
I understand but hope that it gets serious consideration. I'm sure you will see many subscribers will RiCA 2 new sims for now on the data bundles :)
Hopefully you guys can have answer before the current data bundle expires...which is 1 year from now. Also don't EVER make the product uncapped, it would just slow the network down. I like many customers changed to Cell C data bundle not only for the value for money but also the Quality of service which you are currently providing.

Put a little ball of prestic on the modem, and stick the other sim on top of it.

or punch a small hole through the sim and attach it to the USB cable with a string

these sound like cheap solutions, and they are, but at least both sims will be on the modem at all times.

I just store it in a drawer though.

Thanks. can you upload a photo of where you punched your hole in the SIM? seems bit dangerous. The prestik looks like a good idea though.

on second thoughts, rather not punch a hole through it. :p

I was thinking "needle" though, not a regular hole puncher used with paper binders

I'd pay R2999 (5gb with stick) + R1999 (5gb) for 10gb a month in a heart beat.

Would like this option as well, 5GB just not enough need another 2GB(R999) or even 5GB(R1999) just to cover it.

Wont be bad either, but by my current calculations i would need 6GB a month so a 2GB addon would suffice.
CellC make a plan!!!

What I think would be really great is to change the package from instead a 60gb where you can use 5gb per month, to a 60gb prepaid package valid for one year. Then if you use it in say 6 months, then you can just buy another, and you do not need to worry about any out-of-bundle usage.

IMO that would be bad than Cell C might not be able to adequately provision the service across the network. Think about it with the current system they know what you need for a given period and they can provision for that backhaul capacity instead of making an educated guess with some areas being under-serviced with too little towers and others over-serviced with to many towers.

Also it would be 60 GB uncapped on a wireless network for R2000 = P2P would destroy it.

Addon 2GB to existing 5GB?

So CellC, can i buy 2GB bundle & have it added onto my current 5GB bundle/sim.
Would take hassle out of changing sims when 5GB runs out.
Is this possible or not?
