I have a normal 20Mb mymeg package for each month, but on tuesday (i think) i bought a 1gig ad-hoc bundle. When I go to the balances page today I see it is gone and there is just info on the 20Mb bundle. I only used maybe 90Mb or the 1 gig bundle, did I lose the rest??

edit: Surely I can still use the ad-hoc bundle until 1 month after I activated it?

Yip bundles expire at the end of the month and do not carry over.

but that really sucks:mad: vc should have a carry over period for people who buy the bundles close to the month end

I've never been able to understand why vodacom wouldn't allow bundles to be carried over. Surely this will be quite easy to achieve technically. An ad hoc bundle is prepaid data. You pay upfront for using X amount of data. Who cares how long it takes you to use it? The longer it takes you the better for v's cashflow (not that they have anything to worry about in that department). If I were them I would be encouraging folks to buy 1000 Gig bundles to use for the next 10 years.

The only reason not to allow it (that I can come up with) is if they have taken a decision to steal these leftovers from customer... Hope that's not it!
