Question about Fibre

They are planning to install fibre in my street, at this time I cant afford it so i have not ordered it.

Im sure in the future i will have the funds for it so my question is, how do they connect me to the fibre once its already in the ground? How do they splice me in without affecting other users using it currently.


Thirdly, is it possible I can pay the installation fee now, they install the fibre to my house (while they are busy installing) and the fibre is physically there but with no connection obviously.

Who is the operator? Vumatel? If so:

If so they will install a wall box on your boundary so that when you want to go ahead they will connect to that.

Yes you can order the in house build and not activate a service as yet

Wall box gets fitted to every property

Every property along the street will get it. They are busy installing fibre in my street and recently, installed it in the complex and put that box on my wall. I'll be ordering the service once the area is active.

Outside, boundary wall. You then pay for the connection from there to inside the home.
