Question mweb billing

Now before I start I know that the feeling is that MWEB is a crappy service provider I myself would rather change to axxess or cybersmart but as I am not employed yet the account is in my mothers name and it will be a job getting to change it. What I generally want to know is why if MWEB subscription is supposed to be R219 do you end up paying about 260 something. This is puzzling because the only other additional service on the account is the SMS alert thing which costs only R5. Can anyone shed light what the other charge is for?

As far as I know you should only pay R219.00 per month for you 2GB account.
Not sure about that extra R5.00 for the SMS alert thing.
I know that with Axxess you get your SMS & Email alerts for free.

I would say that you should phone MWEB on 08600 32000 and ask them about it.

R40 - Dialup

Hey yall,

Just found out what the additional R40 is for. They told me that it is charged for the dial up service that is on the account as well. So I thought I would update everyone.
