Quick Excel 2007 question

Hey guys :D

My questions are usually very complicated, but here is a very easy (hopefully) one:

You know in Excel you can format cells to be seen as a currency and then the symbol is automatically added for you (especially when using formulas, it is very helpful)? But the problem is that on my Excel there is no R symbol for Rand, only ZAR... But I want to use a R symbol, can I add it to the symbols list in some way?

I can't type an R in all the cells because they are all functions and will go corrupt that way

Thanx:D.

Try this, format the cell under custom with R #,##0;R -#,##0 or R #,##0.00;R -#,##0.00 for the cents as well....

Also check the very top of your currency list, mine shows an R when you format the cell for currency. I think it gets the R from the Windows regional settings and not from Excel.

Control Panel > Switch to Classic View > Regional Settings > Below the Formats tab, click on Customize this Format, then click the Currency tab, and add the "R', the apply and open excel, it should now be there...
