Hi,

I dont know linux and have been applying plasters on axewounds for some time now lol and have a quick question about the polling...

For some reason I now have to manually poll the server to fetch mail from POP (I havent changed anything so dont know what went wrong as it was doing its own thing for a while now.)

I've been looking online and I just wanna know, must I add an interval after each line/email account in the fetchmailrc file or is there a global daemon set I can add to poll the whole thing itself?? :wtf:

I found this for example:
set daemon [seconds]
set postmaster "squire"

I've made a backup before fiddling haha

I have used webmin before, and it really makes things so much easier as you can do all the things from a web frontend (any compatible web browser).

Thats sounds great actually, Im busier than a one-legged river dancer at the moment so I'll look into that when I have time. I tried that interval thing in the meantime and reset the services. *holds thumbs*

I don't think so... [not sure... haven't tried it myself]

Why not try it and see what happens? :)

It worked by the way *pats self on back*

Getting used to this whole linux thingy although its still like a whole new language to me at the moment haha.
