Quick Question on PFsense before a firewall

Am i able to run PFsense infront of my sonicwall ?

Sonicwall does DHCP for me and other features

I want PFSENSE to do URL filtering and blocking of websites but i want to run both of them together

Dont really wanna touch the sonicwall

How are you planning to do URL filtering? I assume the sonicwall is some form of NAT at the moment, so you might just see 1 IP and thats it, which isnt flexible.

It also sounds like a pain running both, any reason you dont want to touch the sonicwall?

Dont overcompliate things ... The sonicwall does everything including url filtering and blocking.The issue is that the sonicwall is not very user friendly.My advise is to download the Sonic0S pdf and read through it so you can start understanding how it works.
