Quick questions with return policies on a laptop

So my nephew bought a laptop like a month ago. It first it was working okay but it's slow and practically loops everytime we turn it on. Even after a clean install of windows it's slow and loops during boot. Can he return it?

The best will be to contact the place where he bought if from. Different brands carry different warranties and durations

He did try returning it to game because it kep looping during boot up even when he didn't any suspicious software. But Game told him they can't do anything with issues related to software.

What's the brand and model? Could be a known issue, but you said he did a clean install and its doing the same thing. They need to take it back.


CPA says he is allowed to return it.

It's an Acer Aspire A315-something. The Celeron version.
