9/10 and the only one I got wrong was the G4 lappy, which is weird because I have never desired a piece of hardware as badly as that when it was new.

... but they're extremely limited and a few generations behind everything else. Price is exorbitant for old technology and the owners are generally elitist that look down on others because they feel they own the best. They can't bare the thought of having paid so much money for something average or slightly beyond average.

The majority of educated, employed, well-off, upper-end users of the market must be wrong.

To make Android/non-Apple users feel better, they actually create this fictitious concept that Apple owners look down on others. They can't bare the thought of having paid so much money for something advertised as having octa-core CPUs and 3GB RAM phones, which actually perform worse than dual-core CPU and 1GB RAM iPhones, which remain stable and consistently fast and smooth for multiple generations and iOS versions, without crashes and constant battery pulls. Shame, if only Android users had a proper premium non-fragmented OS, maybe they'd stop playing this fabricated blame game to make themselves feel better.

But keeping with the Apple theme, I was reading about the huge profits that Apple make on each iPhone compared to other manufacturers. Working in distribution channel myself, I got to thinking how they could have done it - is it just more efficient channels and processes perhaps?

But now I'm thinking that although I mock them about being a few generations behind, it could be a good thing for them! I mean NFC chips are years old and dirt cheap nowadays, so they implement thom. Dual Core are budget chips from years back, so they snap those up too. 8MP camera sensors are obsolete and dirt cheap, so they use them. In the end, they put together a hardware device with old technology at $100.00 and that's how they make their profits! Pure genius!

Bulk buying = cheaper pricing. Helps when you dominate the high end of the market.
