R1.2-billion Gauteng Broadband Network reaches milestone

The R1.2-billion Gauteng Broadband Network roll-out by Altech Alcom Matomo has reached a milestone, with fibre broadband connectivity to eight core nodes.

I would be getting excited if the nodes around Joburg weren't already fibre-ready with the expensive Joburg City fibre as well as a handful of commercial providers
