Good, criminal scum can't get away with time (on their side). As always, do the crime, pay the time.

According to the article she ripped them off between 1998 and 2017, when her misdeeds were no doubt found out.

2017 isn't that long ago...

She'll do 5 or 6 years, that's 1 year for every two million and change she stole.

With inflation, R13 million in 1998 is easily the equivalent of R50 million by today's Rand value. After 5 years she's eligible for parole. A slap on the wrist!

So that works it to 1 year in prison served for each R10 million stolen. Half of this country would serve a year in jail if they were paid R10 million. Crime pays!

Don’t the specialist Hawks have better things to do than this?
Well spotted, yes, it's significance is irrelevant.

The only reason for its appearance on MyBB is the race of the perp. Some forumites have huge chips grand canyons on their shoulders and get all twitchy due to crime posts predominantly being perpetrated by one particular race. It's such an obsession to them that they actually keep scores of it. In response to their inner turmoil, they experience hot flushes, pins and needles and unspeakable glee whenever they find a crime story concerning a minority race individual, and somehow feel a compelling need to post all these bits of irrelevant BS in the hope that it creates a more "balanced" view, you know "balanced scorecards" and such. The same ones all the time. Most astute MyBBers know that it's just a novel attempt at the good old Bandwagon fallacy.
