R2000 OOB billed for yesterday with 3Gb data available

The ussd function hasn't been working the last few days on my Note 4. So yesterday I called 082111 to check my balances. Free calls have been depleted and I have 3.06Gb left from the 5Gb data bundle I bought 15 April and R85 billed so far.

I downloaded about 1.2 to 1.4Gb yesterday. Last night I called 082111 again to check my balances. R1900 billed so far and 3.06Gb data remaining.

I requested for an itemised bill to be sent and it is only yesterday's data that is being billed. How do I sort this out?

082111 is currently offline and can't help. How do I do a Service Request?

I purchased another 2Gb data bundle this morning as a backup.

I'd switch off data before I use any more, then wait for Monday until you can talk to someone about this.

Limit the amount that you can spent. When the OOB shark bites at least the damage will be minimized. Make sure you get a email from the service provider that confirms a limit is implemented.

So I called 082111 again. It shows on their side I have the 3Gb and the 2Gb data purchased this morning available. I should wait until I get my bill and dispute if I am billed OOB as they have the recorded calls of yesterday morning 07h30 confirming I had 3Gb data left.

Just a quick update. I received my bill and it has a R1700 OOB data charge. I called customer care and logged a service request on the 12th (last week Thursday) and received feedback today.

Due to misleading information given to me by the customer care representatives over the period in question, my account will be creditted by the R1700.
