That won't help him much.
On the time span he wants, he is looking for a shortcut to avoid having to save R4100 per month. And there is no such shortcut that doesn't have significant risk of losing his money.

I am glad you get my question, yes i don't want to save a total of R4167 pm I want to use investment vehicle that will allow me to save wayyyy to low. :)

Thank you! Thank You!

Problem is at the bank. Those so called consultants don't seem to understand what I really want. It's like they are programmed to understand only one thing.

What I really need is interest options from all types of investment vehicle.

And why not mention Satrix 40? hmm

Because in the time span you are looking at, there is a significant risk of you losing your money if you invest in Satrix.
There is simply no option where you get away from having to save around R4100 per month

Next month is will be R100.42 after a year it will be R105.13 (on daily compounding)

Yho! Then I must just look into starting a business with the current capital I have (R5k) and see if I can make R1000 profit weekly.

It is back to another market research.

There is nothing like that. Otherwise everyone will be billionaires.

Investment is a factor of amount of money you have, the risk you are willing to take and the period over which you are willing to wait.
And those periods are measured in years, not months.

Do you want to earn R50 000 easily over a short period with no risk? Have R500 000 that you can invest

I heard that there's a Nigerian Banker that has found a way to add a zero to whatever amount you send to him, so all you need to do is deposit R5000 into [-]my[/-] his bank account and you're rich!

There are very easy investments. But your timeframe for generating money from them is 12 years, not 12 months.

You are sounding desperate for a get rich quick scheme. If you continue down this path, you will lose your money

I am listening.:) Where do I find money market? Care to share links? Please. So I can compare with Capitec etc

And why not mention Satrix 40?

OK, what you want to do for you target goal of R50 000 by year end is saving, not investing.

If you put your R4545pm (R50 000/11) into a Capitec savings account, you will have over R50 000 when you put the last R4545 in at end December. You can probably put in R4500pm and reach your target with interest growth over the months.

And why no one is mentioning the Satrix Top 40 or other similar things?Because it's something for long term wealth growth. You can put in your R4545 per month and by year end your capital amount could be R45 000 or R50 000 or R55 000, there is no certainty you will meet your goal of R50 000, because there is risk

Yeses! So there's no winning formula. I must really find a way to grow the R3k p.m.

Dude. Where do you expect to find a 33% return (3k per month x 11 = 33k, which is 66% of your 50k goal) in 11 months without significant risk. Just not going to happen. Or go to the casino and put it all on a roulette table

Saving R3000pm month for 11 months in a Capitec account and you will have about R33 300 at end December.

Any other "investing" you do will be more like gambling.

That is simply not possible. And anyone that tells you otherwise is looking to steal your money (Or advising you to gamble you money)

Satrix or any other investment jse related is not for short term especially not less than a year.

Most banks have a money market, what bank are you with?

It seems like you are seeking a get rich quick scheme.

Personally I don't like to gamble with my hard earned cash, if you feel this is something you are willing to do, go to the casino.

last time I checked, no financial institution will give you more than 10% interest with a capital guarantee over such a short period of time, so essentially the variable you have left is to either invest more, or extend your investment period.

FNB and i haven't been lucky to get someone who understand investment and savings. They all sound programmed. If the person run out of answers they go through those booklets made for customers.
