EXPENSIVE: A date with Zandile Nzalo will cost a R250000, as she was ‘sold off’ at an ANC fundraiser held this month.

Want a date with TV actress Florence Masebe and former radio personality-turned-businesswoman Zandile Nzalo?

If you do, you’ll have to part with R500000.

This is what Neotel head Kennedy Memani is said to have pledged to pay into the ANC coffers for a date with any of these hot lasses.

The two were auctioned off at R250 000 a head at a fund-raising dinner the ANC held last month in Parktown.

Masebe and Nzalo apparently raised the males temperatures when they arrived at the upmarket Emoyeni venue in their mini black numbers.

One of the admirers then suggested that they should be auctioned off with whoever making the highest bid winning a date with either of the two belles. Memani made the highest bid at R500000.

The two ladies proved to be even more popular than the charming ANC president Jacob Zuma, who was auctioned off for R400 000 to have dinner with two businesswomen.

At the end of the evening R30 million was raised.

Memani has denied making the pledge but both Masebe and ANC Gauteng treasurer Lindiwe Maseko confirmed the auction.

Yesterday Masebe described the auction as “good fun for a cause that I believe in wholeheartedly”.

Maseko, who described the event “as good fun for a good cause” said the R30 million was the largest amount the party has ever raised since 2001.

“I didn’t expect to raise so much money in one night. It really proves that black business supports the ANC.”
