Does anyone know where I can get a RA/investment calculator with escalation?

I've found quite a few - but none seem to include escalation :/ I've just started an RA with R500.00pm and my contributions escalate by 10% per year.

I want to see roughly what I'd get out in 30 years at an evareage of 10%.

Apparantly Excel can do it too - but I can't find anything :/

Use excel, go to insert formulas, select financial and then use help function.

Oh wow - my R500.00 will equal just under R3,000,000.00 in 27 years - which will be worth less than R600,000.00 in todays terms ...

Did you choose the equity portfolio? Highest risk over the short to medium term, highest return over the long term (historically over past 100 years). Let's hope this trend continues. Nobody knows, really.

Unfortunately, not all retirement annuities allow you select 100% equity, but rather limit your equity exposure to 75%. My RA's with Allan Gray and they're one of the few companies that allow individuals to go for the 100% option (the may withdraw this concession in the future).
