No harm done, anyone should be able to post as he please and others can read or choose not to do so as they please. This is a democratic country that made free speech part of the constitution as long as that do not refer to the ANC, GVT, their policies or the politicians wrong doing.

But I see your point, I also have a uncle in Germany who speaks for all the SA expats there and unfortunately he have also no website he just "represent" all their views or speaks for them. Reading this forum makes you assume many things, but the facts are:
841,000 whites have emigrated since 1994. That's close to 20% of the census count of that year.
New Life expentancy figures states 49 and 53 for males and females respectively. The people leaving, mostly would have lived past this average and therefore would have contributed to taxes/vat if still around. Do the math: that's probably around R1.5 billion per month in lost revenue for SARS.

Further insult lays claim to 'The Come Home Campaign' launched in 2003 wherby only 3000 have returned since - and probably brainwashed in doing so.

And what else do we have in this declining enviroment: SA ranks 121 out of 177 UN countries for Human Development.

Perhaps a poll could be started to actually ask who wants to go and the main reason other than crime.

Try not to be overly negative. Insights from Canada can go a long way in helping South Africans.

For example, Canada was one of the leading nations in the fight against apartheid and in leading the sanctions that crumbled the Nats.

I suppose that insight into fighting apartheid was not good for you then either, was it?

As for the good life, life is good wherever you live provided you have the right attitude. It's just different here. Skating or skiing or skidooing is good here too and lots of fun.
