Yet you fell for an obvious trope , do not mock if you are conveying my message in your first 2 lines .
I intend to entertain nobody but i do intend to see who gets it and who doesnt .
Let me say it s l o w e r.
You are just being like the person you are trying to portray. That is not sarcasm or satire. It is acting, without me knowing that you aren't truthful.

You are essentially chastising me for not comprehending your words and actions. I don't know you. We've never communicated. Why would I instinctively know this is your modus operandi.

Let me say it more clearly , you clearly lack the ability to sort fact from fiction , i clearly stated something which is illogical and backed by stats , you retorted with something along the lines of speak to a planet , ........an object which cannot bargain or speak , i will allow you this one pass or i shall call you a dunce if you persist , your choice.

Edit , If i say something , google it then reply , im not going to cozy up to strangers on the innernet just so they can know when im being sarcastic.

Clickbait...

There is less risk in the average home, than from eating a banana.
Not really. We live on old Gold mine dumps. There a Uranium mine 20Km from my house. I work with heavily radio active instruments. It is the norm. No one is safe.

We just continue day to day without worries.

What do you mean no one is safe, not everyone lives in the shadow of a mine.

The WHO estimates that radon is the cause of lung cancer in up to 15 % of cases, and the US Surgeon General estimates that some 20 000 lung cancer deaths in the US each year are attributable to radon exposure, so the risk is real.

So, you mean that being alive can cause cancer? Cause you can't escape this stuff coming out of the ground, can you?

True, but the OP says whole of SA, which is not true...

Exposure to oxygen is bad too. It's one of the factors that ages you. The alternative, however...

The issue is radon that accumulates indoors - that is something that one can do something about. As previously mentioned in this thread, radon extractors are used in some homes and buildings in the US.

All these damn posts devolving into childish insults is annoying.

So....what's the resolution to this irradiated gas? Where does one buy detectors/extractors?

And this is why I'm convinced that SA is rooted. The economy is tits. The govt is trying to deflect from their manifest f/ups and some dipshit is concerned about the dangers of radon. You guys are such a hoot.
The public's own worst enemy is themselves. That's why quick fast reaction is needed. Not "Oh, we have not appointed a commission of inquiry .. will be done next year ...", with people not knowing if they're being fried from the inside, or being taken for a ride by an air filter salesman. So they wonder, panic - profit for some.

No only East-rand, JHB, Steelpoort, VaalRiver, Carletonville, Welkom, Rustenburg, Thabazimbi , Northern cape. Hell they have a Thorium mine right there. and a few other smaller areas.

Cool, we can do without the people from those places.
