Clear Access offering 40Gbps fibre at rAge Expo 2023

Internet service provider Clear Access will offer a 40Gbps fibre connection at rAge Expo 2023 to provide over 600 LAN gamers with an uninterrupted gaming experience.

Clear Access will also have a booth at the expo where gamers can sign up for Quark — a fibre offering aimed at serious gamers — and test ping rates for their favourite games to see how Quark will perform in their area.

I wonder what technology they are using for the access, because GPON can only do 2.5Gbps, 10XPON can only do 10Gbps. I reckon it must be a custom 40Gbps OTN link or something that carriers use, so it is a once off thing for the expo.
