They clearly aren't fully-fully vaccinated. They must have missed the memo that you are only fully-fully vaccinated unless you've had a jab in the last 3 months after you were fully-vaccinated.

Can't imagine what it must be like for the best years of your young adult life to be ruined by this pandemic, and even going through all these protective measures still end up with events cancelled. These kids will need therapy in their later life to deal with how their youth was robbed.
