Neighbours have just returned from Swellendam via Worcester this morning. They report snow still visible on the mountains.

Just because it's hot today doesn't mean the cold is going to go away. Usually in CT a sudden increase in heat means there's rain or something coming again. Lived here a while now so I kind of know the pattern.

Yes, it's coming! This may be the most extreme temperature swing we have had recently. Snow on Table Mt last week. 32C today. Light rain on Wed 4th.
Long range forecasts are showing an even sharper temperature drop by the weekend, with snow possible by Sun 8th. The actual outcome is unlikely to be as heavy as last week, but a real yo-yo spell...

Nah, between July and yesterday never saw one, until I did the dishes. Anyways a "comfortable" cold today. No need for 10 pairs of socks and slippers.it's like they never actually left this winter

Very cold conditions will move in from the south on Sun 8th, bringing light rain for the Garden Route (not much for CT), and snow over the Swartberg and Drakensberg, and pushing up into the eastern half of SA on Mon 9th:

so nothing to see here, 1 day on nice spring 30 degree weather, then its back to cold and freezing weather
place is weird sometimes.

first they must sort out the war there,
then maybe I will do that,
what I can never understand is they claim CPT has a Mediterranean climate, Israel is in the Mediterranean and it was never like this.
hot then freezing cold, then hot again, literally in the space of an hour.
Summer was hot, like really really hot, no rain ever, 35 degree weather, all day everyday.
winter was slightly cooler, 21 degrees was considered cold and then it rained, otherwise a desert through and through.
