Rain and storm for Cpt pt 2

Does qualify as spring rains or tge last of the winter rainfall?

There is no clear boundary between winter and summer in Cape Town, with cold fronts passing all year round. The period September to December can get almost half as much rainfall as the rest of the year. The main difference is that the storm frequency reduces, and the temperature increases (gradually).

More often than not it increases suddenly in one day which almost always makes me sick

Much wetter than I expected today (Wed 18th), with about 25mm in our gauge in Kenilworth at 1pm...
Just came from the southern suburbs now and got absolutely drenched. Been raining out here in Edgemead but not nearly as intense.

Interesting how much it varies. Here in Kom we've had a sustained drizzle, but apart from one shower of about 5 mins, we've had really light rain. Can't think it's more than 3-4mm.

Edit: Of course it starts bucketing down right after I post that.

Southern Suburbs will be all Table Mountain's fault.
