Rain and Vodacom 5G vs MTN and Telkom LTE

12 months should be the max limit on any contract. People need to fight this 24 months crap, we are not living in the stone age , taking us for a P03$

Wow that vodacom stuff looks like rape taking place.
I say that without seeing its 5g vs lte which in my opinion its not worth paying double for the 5g package. But my use is probably not the same as others.

Those high speeds that they talk of, especially Telkom LTE, those are lab results I suppose. I have Telkom LTE and I dont even get to 30mbps

Dunno about other fixed LTE's but Rain's fixed LTE (5G) has the disadvantage that it is not always on. Some days it goes down many times and can stay down for long. It is totally random and unpredictable. Thus while nice when it runs, it is unreliable. Can't work on it for example. Unless you have another ISP and router as backup but that defeats the purpose of signing up with Rain in the first place.
