If my R479 package were atleast 20mbps I would not have to pay for both packages. Right now I don't have much choice. But I also cannot complain either as I get the full advertised 10mbps up and down. I can only hope they see the light and increase it from 10 to 20mbps standard even if the price will be pushed to R500.

Yeah from my 1 month test speed always capped at 10Mbps

Personally I do have an issue with them throttling youtube and netflix though. They should allow us to use the full 10Mbps as we please. Imagine having a decent 10Mbps but youtube is at 360p. That is just sad when the line/connection is capable to do that same youtube video at 1080p

Speaking of netflix - does anyone know if netflix traffic is routed via a local CDN on rain's network or not ?

All traffic in SA is via JHB Open Connect Netflix server. Big ISPs like Telkom, Afrihost, Cool Ideas, RSAWeb ect has their own caches. Whether Rain has one not sure but in PTA it got served from a JHB server.
