Rain gives customers unlimited free data for June

Rain announced that it is giving customers unlimited free data for June and refunding SIM delivery costs.

Rain is a data-focussed mobile network which offers users a single plan of 5c per MB, which works out to R50 per GB, and users only pay for what they use.

Are they giving free internet for June to all customers or just the ones that received the email ?

Got no such email, got no SIM, and no feedback.

And it looks like they have changed the menu on their website again, can't see status of orders now

I think they took the dashboard down to accommodate the free usage for June and get everyone that already placed an order to set the start date for 1st of July.

Yes account details page has been deleted

Free Data for June 2018 to All The 1000's Like Myself Who Applied 2 or more Weeks ago is an INSULT 'cos None of Us, Have Yet Received Our SIMS. They RAIN Down False Promises & Delivery Dates Instead of Keeping Their Customers Informed or Updated. They Should have a Walk-In Centre...

Yup, this is what happens to the sucker guinea-pigs, or early adopters as they're sometimes referred to. At least Rain are doing something about it and they are apologising, unlimited free, high speed data is always welcome. No doubt these early release bugs will be squashed in due course and that'll be the time to jump on the bandwagon.

hope Rain gets their ducks in a row soon

Rain sucks period. Ordered sim and phone on the 07 June.
No delivery, no feedback to countless emails and calls.
Order tracking disappeared first then the order completely disappeared.
Poor call centre agents reading of scripts default reply is that they will escalate.
Now they have a new website up www.raincustomersupport.zendesk.com
Which looks as amateurish as the first site. Any part timer like myself can do better and it also includes false claims of deliveries in 3 days.
Bunch of deceivers.

Useless when there's no throughput in any case.
