Thinking about getting this product but so much fake news out there , so i came here to the experts .

So let me et this straight from 23h00 till 18h00 the next day you can feast as much as you want From 18h00 till 23h00 you pay R50 per gig .. Your speed depends on your signal strength . It is R250 for the sim card , data only . And you need a special router. What else ?

Your whole sentence is correct. BUT....big butt. Your speed also depends on how many people use the service. I left after 1 year as I went from 80Mbps to 20Mbps. Uploads also sucked.

Was not that great. Felt like a 10Mbps ADSL connection in my area.
My speeds I got was when downloading from Steam

Speeds in general are deteriorating due to congestion and throttling.
Their facebook page is littered with complaints these days from 4G users.
We can all advise you but individual experience differs
Usually it starts out great and then drops off to unusable speeds during the day.
If you want to stream or game, it may be painful but for downloading its ok.
Best to sign up and try for yourself. SInce it is month to month you can opt out anytime.

What would you guys suggest i use in conjunction with this ? Something that will work on the dame hardware but that can be used during the 18h00 - 23h00 time frame , which happens to be the time it will be most used .

I use Vodacom and Rain. Load balance the two during off peak and the router automatically switch Rain off during Peak.

Be sure to get one that is compatible with the deals on any network.
The more recent MTN deals only work on specific routers and if you choose to later on get a package from them you do not want to have to re-invest in hardware.

I found that the B618 works the best on 2600Mhz for Rain. But depending on tower. @cavedog can explain more.

If you don't already have an MTN Fixed LTE compatible router the Telkom 61 day prepaid bundles may also be an option. If you split the anytime data over two months the cost is similar to the MTN Fixed LTE bundles. The advantage of the Telkom bundles is that you can transfer data onto additional SIM cards and it is a proper mobile service while the MTN Fixed LTE SIM is tied to a particular tower.

The 60+60GB 61 day bundle costs R459 or R230pm for 30+60GB in the first month and 30GB anytime data in the second month which is not much more than the 30+30GB MTN Fixed LTE bundle for R199 which can only be used on one device in one location.

Avoid the Huawei B315. Low speed plus it won't work with MTN LTE if you intend to use MTN for the peak period. As stated by others buy a Huawei B618.
