Rain is now allowing people to rica the sim card using a passport even for foreigners and this is a welcome move. I also noticed that buying the sim card is now free and delivery is r1 instead of r51 for sim and delivery. Now this is so enticing. What are your thoughts guys?

Plus delivery is R1 in total? I think you're mistaken. Upon check out it'll be R51.

I have noticed the change as well. The downside is that the 7 days unlimited all hours is no longer given.

I ordered 6 months back. I had uncapped from 23:00-18:00 during the trial.
I had uncapped any time of the day for the first week. Also ordered 6 months ago.
The uncapped between 23:00-18:00 is an add on at R250 and is still available.

for foreigners? we not talking about South African citizens. Now they are also accepting non-RSA citizen passports.
Yep, I am a foreign national. I had submitted my passport and utility bill to get the sim

So now that we can Rica online, this is hopefully a step closer to eSim?
For esim it's a bit different. There must be a huge number of phones that support those sums before they can implement that and rightnow there isnt
