The network is going to get even more congested now.
I take it it's a 24 month contract, with corresponding pro rata penalty charges for early cancellation.
No thanks.

At least with AfriBoo I can leave after 6 months (which I intend doingin 3 months time) and take the router with me - no penalty.

Apparently not, Afrihost has a cancellation price of R1000 even after 6 months (Which alot of consumers are complaining about). But I emailed ICASA and then a few weeks later Afrihost's support manager emailed me back and said he will cancel my contract at no extra cost. He even referred me to go with Axxess's Cell c LTE.

not mine, explicitly states 6 month.

"Should you cancel your Fixed Wireless package in less than 6 months from signup date, or your account falls into arrears, you will automatically be charged a cancellation fee of R999. (Only applicable for signups done on or after 05 October 2017)."

Prolly for new signups.. Yes. So be cautious

This would not count for "Rain customers" that was pushed to Afrihost.
