Rain SIM account balance question

We checked the Rain SIM account balance this morning, and it gave R129.04 although we did not use any data yet (0.0GB total gigs used).

Another person has also not used any data, with a R50 spend limit, and he is now told he has used R50 of R100 and has no data left.

Anyone else experiencing these problems?

R129 is the pro rata amount for the uncapped package. They semt an email about this a couple days ago.

I added the unlimited before midnight. Prorated amount perhaps?

Mine also showed R50 of R100 spend although I did not use it and my spend limit is set at R50.



Now it has been amended and shows R0.20 spend of R50 limit

Used 1.29Mb so my dash (correctly) shows R50 of my R50 (1GB) limit already....

No prorata there

I also experienced issues from the control panel, I cannot made changes to my limit after numerous attempts, live chat will only escalate (usually takes days) to try and sort the issue, so now I am left not to use the sim's after trying changing the limit of the sims.

So end of the day, faulty client dashboard and we as the clients are held responsible for the billing even if their system is faulty....

WTF I though we are paying per mb and not per gb because looks like they are charging per gb?

I think there is going to be a ton of billing queries which I hope they are ready for.

If they are goung to charge per gb or part thereof then it needs to say R50 per gb billed per gb and not 5c per mb...

Same here- should not be using any data peak time as it has no traffic routed through it at this time. But balance shot up to R179.27
of R300.00.

Queue tons of billing issues to follow. If they can't even get the usage right how are they going to calculate the usage that happens just before 6pm?

I reckon a lot of that usage is going to carry over to peak and be billed.

You all know who we dealing with, we've had a month of failed deliveries,empty promises,useless support and abysmal upload speeds!

I see i managed to pull 6GB out the 1GB... and somehow spend limit has an extra R50.

Will monitor it again tonight during PEAK time
