Sorry, just have to vent. Sudden and complete collapse in performance since Friday has left me fuming.

The good:
They're the cheapest for LTE data, bar none. That makes up for a lot of bad.

The bad:
Their service. In comparison to the big boys, their DGAF attitude stands head and shoulders above. Every question I put to them got the same response - "it's been escalated to Networks, 24-48 hours turnaround time".

Bottom line:
You get what you pay for, don't you?

Can concur. Luckily i haven't had to contact the helpdesk this year. Around launch i called them about 8 times with various issues, each time it's been escalated and someone will call you back in 24 to 48 hours. Nearly a year later nobody called.... Luckily my issues are sorted and didn't have to call them again. I don't think they know what it's means to escalate an issue though.

Just pay 2-3 times the price and you'll get all the data you want from another provider.

Now that I have fiber termination in my home, the days with Rain are numbered. I don't mind lower speeds, I DO MIND consistency. Rain's reliability graph can only be compared to a Jackson Pollock painting. Pings are everywhere and so are the the speeds. Though, pings are generally bad, data is on the lower-end of the spectrum. We have 100Gb/month plan, we Netflix and YouTube, and Amazon and Showmax and game nearly every night and we could only work through 75GB. That already says heaps about how bad the performance is on the network. we had a 25GB rollover. Great, thanks, Rain

Performance and reliability have severely deteriorated one the past 6 months. Currently there is no service in my area. Couldn't find anything on their website with network status, wonder why that is?

Performance and reliability has gone to **** since the start of 2019 . I use to get up to 35 Mbps. Then it would drop to around 18 Mbps which was still great . Now it's generally under 1 Mbps and it's so frustrating. We a household of 5 who all stream at the same time Netflix in UHD and full HD . Now neither of us can.
