I dont know this app but if I am not mistaken it detect the connection on the mobile device the app is install on. My app allows you to enter the cell I'd of the tower you connected to

Oh I have looked at this app, like I said it detects the tower the phone/tablet its installed on tower details. You cant enter custom information like from a 5G router.

That's where the app I have developed is better than Mobile Signal Debugger is. I am going to be adding the ability to detect the tower that is on the device. Just really swamped with work and personal things at the moment

I managed to find a couple 2500mhz towers that my router would connect too. Previously was 1800mhz.

Not sure what you wanted exactly. When it comes to towers your closest isn't exactly the best. We have a closer 2600Mhz tower that isn't a line of sight and gives like 3mbps. The 1800Mhz one does really well at night getting 30 down 20 up, but is congested during the day. We managed to find a much further away 2600Mhz tower that isn't congested most of the time and gets us a 50down and 7 up most of the time. So its a bit trial and error depending on what you are looking for and equipment you have.

234764322 - lat: -26.27312 lon: 28.125303 (vodacom shared) and lat: -26.2734 lon: 28.124903 (rain main)

233097764 - lat: -26.26086 lon: 28.124218

233097763 - lat: -26.260045 lon: 28.130002

Looking at the map of the towers these are all really close together, so location is key.

Sorry for being daft but have put cords into Goggle maps and its not taking me to location. Can someone share how it is done. Counting degrees as I move my mouse over Google maps is proving to be a challenge :cool:

Just remove the wording so its like "-25.722519 28.227457" and throw that into google maps and it will work.
