Rainbow Six Siege's first season of Year 3 content kicks off on March 6 with the release of Operation Chimera on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Chimera features two new Operators – Lion and Finka – who represent French and Russian counter-terrorism units, respectively, as biohazard specialists. Along with traditional, competitive Rainbow Six Siege multiplayer matches, these new Operators will see their weapons and gadgets put into action in Outbreak, a new four-week co-op event that starts March 6.

The had the 2018 International this weekend during which they announced the plans for the year as well as a free weekend on UPlay. It was during the developer discussions that they let it slip that we have local servers on the horizon probably due to the Azure Data Center due this year.

If I recall correctly it is not available on the steam store in South Africa due to region locks but it is definitely available in Uplay.

How if you cant even buy the game via the steam store?

Buy it in a different region (such as the US Steam store) and gift the game to your SA account. I did it back in the day, works for a lot of games that way

I doubt it. It seems more likely to happen when the Azure servers fire up.
