Rain has had an eventful year, which included the launch of an online RICA system, the continued roll-out of its network, and the rapid growth of its customer base.

The biggest moment of 2019 for Rain, however, was when it switched on its 5G network and began offering packages to the general public.

Would have probably signed up for it if it was not for the contract-only option now.

Their 4G is not for everyone tbh. When it’s good it’s really good and when it’s bad omg.

when I started using rain it was on Vodafone R216 router and the speeds were brilliant, six months later they dropped below 1MB. For two weeks I could figure out what what going on and-as usual rain told me the tower is congested and there’s nothing they could do. To their credit, Rain tried everything in their power to help me.

I later bought a Hauwei B618 router and for the past 8 months my speeds went from 1MB to a now average of 45mb . Make of that what you will.

It's true. With the standard routers everyone ends up on the same congested bands.
