HI every one, need sum quick help here

my board support supports ram fsb up 533mhz. i have a 1 kingston 1GB ddr533 chip (with ECC). now i wana buy a second chip bt dey dnt have dat exact one any more.

what the supplier has is a....

1GB ddr533 without ECC

and

1GB ddr667 with ECC

taking into consideration dat my board supports 533 , and my 1 chip has ecc, which wud be me best option in terms of performance, the 2 chips are almost priced the same?

Mixing ECC registered memory with non ECC registered memory shouldn't work even if the motherboard supports ECC or non-ECC memory. Rather find a matching module or replace all the memory with non ECC memory (if your motherboard supports non ECC modules).

It's recommended that you populate your memory banks with the same spec modules and preferably the same brand/manufacturer as well.

2GB DDR 800 modules are less than R400 these days so just get 1 of those.
