Ramaphosa announces extra public holiday

President Cyril Ramaphosa has declared Friday, 15 December 2023, a public holiday to celebrate the Springboks becoming the first nation to win four Rugby World Cup titles.

The President had previously said he would consider doing so only if South Africa won the final, following requests from the public to make the Monday following the Springbok's victory over the home nation, France, a public holiday.

No problem, companies know what to do to prevent them any further losses.

The day before the Day of Reconciliation. This declaration is just for the preparation of Reconciliation activities for that day. A day of ANC politicking. Speech.
