A little to late. Eskom is a much bigger threat than Telkom. . Telkom is not the only ISP/FSP since long time.

Please focus attention on corrupt personnel at the only power utility available

SIU goes after looted state funds, the state has an interest in Telkom, the state believes that there is a possibility that there was maladministration and misconduct that led to billions of rands being lost, the state has every right to set SIU on Telkom, simple as that.

The fact that they are not the only ISP around is of no relevance.

Cyril: hey Telkom, stop your nonsense with the spectrum litigation....
Telkom: nah mate
Cyril:....

Telkom's shady deals — "We already investigated and went after the culprits"

Telkom has responded to President Cyril Ramaphosa proclamation instructing South Africa's anti-corruption watchdog, the Special Investigating Unit (SIU), to investigate dodgy deals at Telkom dating back to 2016.

The Presidency's surprise announcement was published in the government gazette on Tuesday after he had signed it on 14 January 2022.

Tax Payers: Cyril stop the Eskom corruption
Cyril: We will be investigating Telkom

Precisely that. Let's not talk abaout Eskom, Prasa etc... Rather focus on the one entity that is at least profitable. Replace the leader with some useless corrupt official.

Truth is you lot will moan when corruption is not being investigated and moan even more when it is investigated.

They don’t see the irony in defending Telkom, while complaining about Eskom.
Exactly, I have said all along that some people just love to moan, if whatever Telkom did in those deals were to come to light they would be the first ones to moan that government sat and did nothing.

Moan when nothing is being done about corruption, moan even more when something is being done.
